                       Identify

Command syntax:

If you are currently using the registered nick,

     /identify y0urPassword

If you are NOT using the registered nick,

     /nickserv identify nice^nick PasswordHere

Command description

This command will identify the user to NickServ as the

rightful owner of the registered nick. You may use the

second command format even if you are currently using

the registered nick.

Command example

Example (1) :

<Nice^Nick>/identify n1ceN1cKpassWord

Example (2) :

<my_cucu>/nickserv identify nice^nick n1ceN1cKpassWord

Special requirement

1) The nick has been registered by user;

2) The nick is not currently held by Enforcer;

3) The nick is not currently Frozen by Oper;

Comments

NickServ will confirm if password entered is accepted or not.

A registered nick must be identified to within a 30-days

interval or else it will expire and drop. If your expired nick 

is a Channel Foundernick, then the related #channel will 

also expire.
