                      Release

Command syntax:

   /nickserv  RELEASE  nick  nickPassword

Command description

The RELEASE command allows the user to release

his/her nick from the Enforcer if indeed the Enforcer has

withheld the nick. The Enforcer will appear if the user of

the nick does not identify the nick within 60 seconds or

if the owner of the nick uses RECOVER command to stop

other users using the nick.

Command examples

   /nickserv  RELEASE  nice^nick  go0DPassword

   /nickserv  RELEASE  nice^nick

Special requirement

There is no special requirement.

Comments

If the user has the current user@host.mask on the ACCESS

list, then nick password is not required. 

An Enforcer is easily recognised or detected by using the 

command /whois on the nick. The Enforcer will not withhold 

a nick for more than two (2) minutes.
